鼎王餐飲集團爆發食品安全風波，集團執行長陳世明今天下午主動召開記者會，他說，「相信經過這次事件，很多人都會製作麻辣鍋了」，對於外界質疑，麻辣鍋底為何含有「巧克力醬」？陳世明說，「巧克力醬是配方的代號」。

陳世明說，他是廚師起家，自認唯一會做、能做好的就是麻辣鍋，不過，麻辣鍋底沒有菜單標示的32種中藥提煉，「文字欺騙消費者」。

陳世明澄清，「鍋底沒有含巧克力醬，那只是一種配方」，配方的顏色像巧克力，才稱為「巧克力醬」，這一點已向台中市衛生局說明。

鼎王麻辣鍋底添加雞湯塊，也引發消費者譁然，媒體詢問，會不會不再使用？陳世明說，只要有食品安全認證，「會繼續使用雞湯塊」。
