為防空識別區議題來台？薄瑞光否認

國民黨立委林郁方昨晚以台美國會聯誼會長的身份作東，宴請美國在台協會（AIT）理事主席薄瑞光，現場並邀請外交部長林永樂、總統府秘書長楊進添與國防部副部長嚴德發等人出席。

據出席人士轉述，薄瑞光在會中否認是代表美方前來溝通有關中國大陸畫設東海防空識別區的事項，表示此行純為例行業務巡視。薄瑞光私下也坦承，吉娜‧麥卡錫（Gina McCarthy）原本規畫訪問台灣，之所以取消，確是肇因抵台消息提前曝光的緣故，而她本訂於今日抵台，消息原預定由薄瑞光昨晚公布。
