巫師在第四節強力反彈，從Trevor Ariza 灌籃開始，打出12比3攻勢，一度領達24分的火箭，被追到剩6分領先。

暫停過後火箭還無法止血，Kevin Seraphin一記三分球命中，跟著切入籃下放進2分，至此兩隊戰成平手。

在Nene放進2分後，火箭首度落後，且巫師共打出21比3攻勢，火箭只有Francisco Garcia一記三分球，火箭有11次出手以失敗作收。

且自那記三分球後，火箭將近6分鐘沒有辦法得分，直到James Harden被送上罰球線才止住這波得分荒。

結果輪到巫師近5分鐘未能得分，給了火箭機會，林書豪助攻Terrence Jones砍進三分球後，火箭又以107比102要回領先。

跟著林書豪又被犯規站上罰球線，2罰中1情況下拉到5分差距，跟著Jones也兩罰得手，時間所剩無多下，巫師不斷以犯規爭取進攻機會，但火箭以114比107獲勝。
