國外網站 The Verge 編輯 Tom Warren 昨日（4/8）於 Twitter 上透露，微軟預計在 7 月對 Windows Phone 8.1 作業系統的新裝置釋出第一波 GDR 更新，當中可能會對應到 Sony Mobile 將推出的新機。Sony Mobile 歐洲事業部負責人 Pierre Perron 曾於 2014 CES 大會中說明正和微軟洽談合作，但並未提及 Windows Phone 系統手機是否會推出，且沒有出現在微軟之後公佈的合作夥伴名單中，關於此次 Sony Mobile 有望在 2014 年 7 月推出 Windows Phone 系統新機的消息，仍有待官方證實。
