捕獸器夾右腳 山羌重傷死亡

新竹縣五峰鄉白蘭部落鳥嘴山登山口，前天有一隻保育類的山羌右後腳被捕獸器夾住，登山客發現報警求助，警方雖與縣府農業處人員趕往搶救，山羌仍因傷勢過重死亡，令員警及農業處人員非常惋惜。

清泉派出所接獲登山客通報後，副所長張正雄、警員朱紹江、雲山派出所副所長林占梅與農業處人員，長途跋涉15公里趕抵鳥嘴山登山口，找到受困的山羌，牠拖著受傷的後腳掙扎。

林占梅指出，「看到牠急，我們也急」，大家合力將山羌運回清泉派出所，雖然立即包紮，但是牠仍因傷勢過重死亡，讓員警及農業處人員感到十分惋惜，山羌屬保育類動物，任意獵捕是違反野生動物保育法，警方將加強查緝。
