「雷帝」Kevin Durant狂轟46分，其中11分出現在最後3分23秒，幫助雷霆隊逆轉，以105比97擊敗拓荒者隊。雷帝最後關頭爆發的關鍵，居然是他跑去搥紀錄台，被吹一記T(技術犯規)，點燃逆轉之火。

當時拓荒者隊還以93比90領先，Durant被吹進攻犯規，相當不服氣，等到隊友Kendrick Perkins也被吹犯規之後，還在生悶氣的Durant跑去搥紀錄台，結果收到技術犯規，拓荒者取得「2+1」罰機會，罰進兩球，取得95比90優勢。

KD把這股怨氣，在場上完全發洩出來。先上籃得手、又投進三分球，在終場前2分52秒時追平比數。最後48秒內，他再飆進兩記三分球，鞏固優勢。在Durant飆分的這段期間，拓荒者全隊只投進一球、得2分。

「那麼做(搥紀錄台)真的是很笨的，」Durant賽後說，「我可能因此嚴重傷害球隊，那時候我只是很氣自己失誤。還好這次比賽結果對我們有利，下次我得處理得聰明點。」

KD最後關頭爆氣，拓荒者束手無策。「Durant的籃框跟海一樣寬，我們一點辦法都沒有。」拓荒者Wesley Matthews說。

這是Durant連8場飆破30分，再兩場，就會追平Kobe Bryant保持的單季連續場次30分紀錄。

拓荒者LaMarcus Aldridge攻下29分、抓16籃板，但最後一節投8中1，無力反撲。在KD看來，那是因為前一天打火箭太累，才影響Aldridge最後關頭的手感。

雷霆拿下4連勝，戰績來到32勝10敗，成為西北組龍頭，也是西區第二，落後領先者馬刺半場。拓荒者吞下二連敗，戰績31勝11敗，落後雷霆一場。
