印度地方通過巫醫懲治法

印度（馬哈拉斯特拉省）議會，開全國之先，通過巫術與巫醫懲治法。

在印度，巫醫以及印度教裡所謂的聖人，都是被崇拜的對象，動輒可以吸引到幾百萬信徒，許多人迷信他們有治病以及製造奇蹟的魔力。

一個致力於破除迷信、提倡科學的社會運動人士，幾個月前遭人殺害，不過，他的死，對（馬哈拉斯特拉省）議會辯論了十八年的巫術與巫醫懲治法，發揮了臨門一腳的功用，馬哈拉斯特拉省成為印度第一個通過反迷信立法的省份。
