奈及利亞超越南非 成非洲最大經濟體

奈及利亞「國家統計局」宣布，他們去年的GDP，超過五千億美元，已經超越了南非，成為非洲第一大經濟體，世界排名則是第二十六。

南非近年來，飽受罷工與經濟成長放緩的影響，經濟表現大不如前。

不過，有不少奈及利亞民眾認為，GDP提高，只是統計數字看起來好看而已；對一般民眾來說，生活並沒有多大改變。許多奈及利亞民眾就說，奈及利亞的富裕，並沒有反映在他們的口袋裡。

這也顯示出奈及利亞的貧富差距嚴重，奈及利亞總人口大約一億七千四百萬人，但全國大約有一億一千兩百萬人，生活處於貧困狀態。
