發現頻道將在美東時間五月11號晚上九點，向全球實況轉播美國探險家（歐格溫）穿著滑翔衣，從世界最高峰珠穆朗瑪峰峰頂滑降而下的冒險之舉。

現年39歲的歐格溫是一個高山探險家，24歲成為征服珠峰、最年輕的美國人，他只花了九個半小時就登頂，而這一次冒險的重頭戲，在登頂之後，他將穿著滑翔衣，從峰頂一躍而下，透過衣服上的攝影鏡頭，把三千零48公尺落差的空降過程，傳遞給電視機前的觀眾，在降到海拔三千多公尺的時候，他下墜的時速將達到241公里。（圖片取材自網路）
