英籍印度商人林克穎涉嫌酒駕撞死送報生，被判刑4年定讞，居然在發監服刑前，持白人朋友護照潛逃出境，終於在今年10月17日於英國落網。林克穎與律師向法院聲請保釋，英國蘇格蘭上訴法院在18日駁回，並將林克穎繼續羈押。

林克穎因酒駕撞死送報生，原本二審遭判刑4年定讞，卻在發監服刑前持白人朋友護照潛逃出境。法務部和英國提出司法互助，並於10月16日簽署「關於林克穎引渡備忘錄」，10月17日林克穎就被英國警方逮捕落網，法務部也積極向英國提出讓林克穎引渡回台審理。

英國法院16日召開引渡案準備庭，林克穎在庭上並未要求交保，但他的律師提出，希望將引渡庭的日期從明年的1月8日、9日往後延，被法官駁回並裁定繼續羈押林克穎。林克穎今天的保釋抗告案，也同樣被英國蘇格蘭上訴法院駁回，並裁定繼續羈押。
