羅馬尼亞總統歧視性發言被罰台幣5500元

法新社報導，羅馬尼亞總統巴謝斯古10日吃了一張180美元（約台幣5500元）的罰單，理由是該國反歧視委員會認定他4年前對該國少數族裔之一的「羅姆人」有不當發言。羅姆人即一般人熟知的吉普賽人，是羅國人數最多的少數族裔之一。

反歧視委員會發言人說，巴謝斯古那次並非首度對羅姆人發出歧視言論，因此該會決定祭出處罰。

巴謝斯古在2010年訪問斯洛維尼亞時說：「許多四處流浪的羅姆人都靠偷竊為生。」當時有超過30個人權組織譴責巴謝斯古的這段話。巴謝斯古尚未對此罰金表示意見。
