觀遙遠星系 解宇宙生成之謎

中央研究院天文及天文物理所研究團隊，發現距離地球九十六億光年的遙遠透鏡星系，改寫天文觀測紀錄，對於其暗物質的研究，有助於瞭解早期宇宙演化之謎。

中研院天文所博士後研究員黃活生、助研究員蘇游瑄等人組成的研究團隊，透過哈柏太空望遠鏡觀測到距地球九十六億光年的透鏡星系，以及背後距地球一○七億光年的小星系，兩者與地球呈罕見的「三點一直線」排列。

這項發現今年六月發表於「天文物理學期刊通訊」。
