研發水電池 二信高中奪金牌

基隆二信高中電機科學生今年以水能源為題，成功研發「水電池」，前往馬來西亞國際發明展參賽奪得金牌，獲得高度肯定，另外以「自動閃光三角板」參賽作品，也榮獲銅牌。

馬來西亞國際發明展今年邁入第25年，此次共有20個國家、近千件作品參賽，基隆市二信高中今年有2件作品參展都獲獎，抱回1金1銅表現亮麗。

二信高中電機科奪下金牌的「水電池」，屬於環境再生能源的綠色發明。參賽同學表示，評審一到參展現場，親自用礦泉水試驗，果真立即讓電器產生效能，令評審驚艷不已。

研發同學指出，以往做實驗需經常使用電池，之後卻會產生大量廢棄電池，既不環保也所費不貲，因而才發想做出「省錢、環保的電池」，於是投入實驗。

其中傳統電池利用化學原料轉為電能，而學子還另外改用環保材料碳、鎂增加電池電壓，利用金屬之間的「壓降」產生電流，並用「水」做為介質，藉此產生電流發電。

另外，二信高中獲得銅牌的「自動閃光三角板」，當視線不佳時三角板可自動提供LED燈光，增加後方駕駛反應時間，若車輛逼近時，透過IC運用轉換光源，使接收器增加LED燈閃爍頻率，引起注意，減少事故發生。
