立委籲：導聾、肢障犬入法

西西和DiDi外表跟一般寵物犬沒有兩樣，但牠們是導聾犬，受過完整訓練，專責叫主人起床、提醒主人小孩哭聲，或有人按門鈴、電器設備警示鈴響，肢障犬的訓練包括幫助不方便彎腰的主人，撿拾掉落物品，協助肢體殘障人士緩解生活不便。

導聾犬名號不若導盲犬熟悉，曾有聽障者攜帶小型導聾犬，搭乘大眾運輸工具，遭到民眾異樣眼光，民進黨立委田秋堇提案修法身心障礙者權益保障法第60條，未來將導聾犬、肢障犬列為工作犬之一，保障聽障者和肢障者的需求。

根據衛福部統計，台灣共有5萬6840位視障者，12萬2348位聽障者，37萬9405位肢障者，中華民國台灣協助犬協會代表葉青華認為，這表示先前立法保障只保障十分之一的人，還有十分之九沒有受到保障。
