手提箱藏毒 澳逮捕4台灣男子

（中央社雪梨30日綜合外電報導）澳洲警方今天說，已逮捕4名台灣人，警方扣押這4人持有的價值1億3000萬澳元（1億2200萬美元）的冰毒，並以毒品相關罪名指控他們，最高可判處終身監禁。

澳洲聯邦警察說，警方昨天在墨爾本市內一棟公寓，查扣4只手提箱，內含超過135公斤冰毒。

警方與澳洲犯罪委員會發表聲明說：「查扣物品的街頭銷售價值估計約1億3000萬澳元。」

法新社報導，被捕的4名台灣男子年齡分別為20、23、24和29歲，他們被控一連串毒品相關罪名，部分罪名最高可判處終身監禁。

警方說，仍繼續調查毒品是否自外地運入。

聯邦警察指揮官吉爾斯（Bruce Giles）說：「如此數量的冰毒，通常是經由陸路或海路運入。」

當局說，澳洲犯罪委員會一個專案小組發現非法金錢流向後，追查到這個團體。
